Why Alternative Energy Is Failing America . . .
Is It Time For Biodiesel Algae?
Let’s put an end to turning green
power into dirty politics . . .
Ok everybody knows there are alternatives to fossil fuel like biodiesel algae (that is biodiesel MADE from algae).
I have spent years researching alternative energy sources. I am politically neutral because I do not believe either the liberals or the conservatives (in America) have a monopoly on common sense. I say this because often this topic is politically charged. I wanted to put an end to this and look for a real solution to this huge problem in realistic alternative energy in America and worldwide.
There are some big considerations before this can be a really successful venture:
1. Politics - both Democrat and Republican (as well as a bunch of independents) are directly responsible for our energy problems. From excessive restrictions on development of our own current fuel sources, to an inability for continued development of real alternative solutions, we have real concerns.
“Let’s be fully intellectually honest on at least one point; greed is the main motivator to prevent the additional mass development of alternative fuel sources, as oil is still the main driver of American industry. Why should companies invest in alternative fuel sources if they can not make a profit?”
2. Market viability – You can not force the market to accept alternative fuel / energy sources. You unleash the power of private industry in a way that rewards their investment. As of now alternative fuel sources, alternative energy is much more costly than traditional methods as an end product and until that changes in a world of oil and fossil fuel dependent countries will resist change.
3. A fuel source should be sustainable – Make no mistake only an idiot would bet on a fuel source that was not eventually going to be renewable or at least sustainable. As population worldwide continues to soar, demand is at an all time high.
4. We must de-politicize energy – As long as politics can dominate our energy supplies we are at the whim of the next despot or even our own politicians who are growing more and more despondent to our needs.
5. We must make the ability to make energy available to every person that needs or wants it – Nothing will end control over our lives if we have the ability to sustain our energy needs.
6. We must make this energy affordable- We need a simple set up that would cost less than a hundred dollars to produce all the energy we could ever need. This frees us from greedy corporations, high energy costs and ever shrinking fuels for our home and vehicles.
Biodiesel Algae to the rescue?
One possible solution is Biodiesel from algae. There is a very interesting video that explains the amazing value of this project and unlike solar or wind this is a technology that is cheap, fast, affordable and offers to replace our traditional fuel at the pump. What is more exciting are pioneers like David Seig who offer a way to easily create your OWN fuel literally at home for under $100.00 to set up the entire project. I am in total agreement here. Looks like alternative fuels are our future. I realize a lot of people don’t want to change but we need to look into alternative fuels like stuff from algae. I watched the video above at that guy’s website. It was compelling. If some dude can produce the stuff cheaply then why can’t we do the same in America?
When we see what is happening in our world now, doesn’t it make much more sense to find alternative ways to produce fuel? Algae bio diesel is a natural product without the excessive pollutants that oil production has.
We are learning that some of the other methods for fuel, that the world has practiced for many years, no longer works and we all should be finding alternative ways to produce fuel for our own purposes. Relying on a system that is no longer working is silly. Algae bio diesel is a wonderful and alternative solution.
Hey this is awesome! I want to see there is a real alternative to traditional wind/ solar nonsense. At least this is real, easy to do and cheap.
